Prof. Qing Li is
currently a full professor of School of Materials Science and Engineering,
Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), China. He was awarded “1000
Talents Program for Young Scholars” in 2016 and then joined HUST. His research
interests include functional nanomaterials and their applications in PEM fuel
cells, batteries, electrocatalysis, and electroanalytical chemistry. His main
research experience and expertise lie in: (1) Non-precious metal catalysts for
oxygen reduction in PEM fuel cells; (2) Synthesis of metal nanoparticles and
composites with controlled size and structure; (3) MEA preparation, fuel cell
assembling, testing and troubleshooting; (4) Catalyst development and system optimization
for direct methanol/dimethyl ether fuel cells; (5) Electrochemistry at
liquid/liquid interface and scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM). He has
authored more than 60 scientific publications in prestigious journals including Adv. Mater., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., J. Am.
Chem. Soc., Nano Lett., Nat. Commun., etc. Many of them are
selected as “ESI highly cited paper”, “ACS Editor’s Choice”, etc. and reported
by numerous media. He is also the author of 3 book chapters and holds 1 issued U.S.
patent.
